Kalamath Brothers
Kalamath Brothers (KB, CD) $14.98
Kalamath Brothers was the project of Frank Hauser JR (Slim Cessna's Auto
Club, Denver Gentlemen) and featured Kevin Soll (16 Horsepower) on bass.
Named after a street in Denver, the Kalamath Brothers recorded an album and
self-released it in 2001. It contains 'Come Along' and 'Raven' which were
also performed by Slim Cessna's Auto Club and appear on their out of print
sophomore album American Country Music Changed Her Life. Personally
speaking, it's interesting to hear those songs performed differently but
there are a few other great songs on this album that I like more than the
SCAC songs. This is not a Smooch reissue but original copies from 2001.
